There are 2 private upstairs bedrooms with large bathrooms, jacuzzi tubs and more. A large upstairs office and loft, a perfect game room. On the main floor is a mud room with its own bathroom, a professional kitchen with eating bar, large living room & Dining room. Donwstairs is a full basement with its own kitchenette and beds for 5+, & private bathroom with large soaking tub. In a seperate room is a gym, a wood storage room and a wood elevator, so no more carrying wood up the stairs or through the house. The house has a total of 4.5 bathrooms throughout, 4 fireplaces, heated floors, plus more. It's truly a resort like setting offering luxory ammenities at a family friendly price.

The house is available for rent year round. It is snowmobile (or snowshoe) access only in the winter. (roughly mid Nov - mid June) Located a short quearter miles from the plowed parking lot off HWY 49. Just across the street from Bassetts Station.
The house is at 5,500 ft elevation, with snow accumulation of upwards near 20' a winter at the near by peaks. For the snowmobile enthusiast this house was truly built for you. Upon arriving and unloading all your gear in the expansive mud room, with plenty of gear storage and private bathroom, you can drive your sleds across the street and fuel up at Bassetts Station before a day of riding any of the 70+ miles of groomed trails and endless backcountry exploring. There is riding from the very inexperienced up to the most extreme sled heads. Our Mountains are featured in SnoWest annually.
In the summer you can drive right up to the house, park in the driveway, unload and relax. With the average temperature around 80 degrees it's perfect for exploring the unlimited hiking, biking and old logging trails, or any of the 50 lakes within a 30 mile radius. There are lodges at several of the lakes that rent canoes, Kayaks and other gear as well as offer food, snacks and drinks. Bassetts Station is open year round, is located right across the street and is famous for there burger and ice cream shakes. The house is also only a short drive into Sierra City, Downieville, Graeagle or Portola. Also only 50 minutes away from Reno or Truckee. 1.5 hours from Sacramento. 4.5 hours from Santa Rosa, or San Francisco.
